What Is Happening with the Citizen Affidavits Calling for a Forensic Audit in Michigan?

Last month, Us Against Media journalist John Clore stopped by the Capitol in Lansing to follow up on the delivery of the affidavits requesting a forensic audit of the 2020 election. Most offices were closed until the legislature reconvened on Tuesday.

Clore checked-in at Senate majority leader Mike Shirkey’s office. Shirkey has a history of denying election fraud. “We have not received evidence of fraud on a scale that would change the outcome in Michigan,” Shirkey said in his December statement on the issue.
