The evil and corruption of our times

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (King James Version)
Out of a consciousness of the terrible evil and corruption of our times, we ought to be on our knees every day crying out to Jehovah for help. The lack of and failure of godly men and faithful souls within the leadership of our government is always the gravest peril which can threaten our nation. There is no greater pain, suffering and trouble which more heavily afflicts the heart of the trusting people of this great nation.
