Christian Progressiveness?

Post by WatchmanMomma »

We have allowed the church to preach Progressive ideology that sees us defending social justice issues instead of calling out evil and just loving others. We are eschewing politics, but embracing cancel culture. This is a slippery slope that leads to no good.

The founders of this country understood Jesus' words pretty darn well. We value due process in this country, but when our churches deny us due process (by being cliquish or pegging people to a certain group sans getting to know them), our society crumbles. We live in the greatest country in the history of mankind because our Christian principles allow for due process, among other things.

What is the solution? READ THE BIBLE to understand how it applies to your life in these modern times without the "hedonistic lenses on". Look at it, the Bible, through the lens of "an unwavering reluctance to become that which is repugnant to any honest man." If that fails, simply look to the two commandments that Jesus spoke: Love God with everything in you, and love your neighbor as yourself. Do that and you'll be fine.
