A recent study published by medRxiv shows that fully vaccinated people are more likely to be prone to infection with more resistant and developing variants of Covid-19. From the study:

“Fully vaccinated individuals were more likely than unvaccinated to be infected with variants carrying mutations associated with reduced neutralization of antibodies (…) Thus, our results show that selection pressure in a highly vaccinated community (more than 71% fully vaccinated as of early August 2021) contributes to infection with more infectious, antibody-resistant variants, such as gamma and delta variants, and these vaccine infections can contribute to the further spread of the virus.” https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101 ... 21262139v1
