60 Minutes and the New World Babel

This past Sunday, the Eagles game was on at 4:00 on CBS. They won, thus, in a celebratory mood, I did not immediately change the channel to the post-game show. Instead, after the game, I went for a victory snack. Upon returning to my chair, CBS’s “60 Minutes” news was live. Admittedly, I have not watched this program for at least 20 years and was about to change the channel. Unexpectedly, I stopped, because there was a presentation about the supply chain logjam that appeared interesting.
Of course, quickly it occurred to me, the reasons for not watching this show. Incredibly, they blamed a tsunami of Amazon shopping orders placed by the American capitalistic consumers. Who had the audacity to order products during the government’s forced quarantines – how dare they! Comically, with a straight face they rationalized this as the cause for the frozen supply lines at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. If this in fact were true, did Amazon continue to take our orders? Hell yes! Did they stop advertising for our business? Hell no! One thing that I can say about Amazon. They are masters at under-promising and then over-delivering on that pledge. So, this new narrative does not make sense.
The fact that the full containers are stacked 9 stories high proves that someone is laying down on the job. Be my guest in finding out who is responsible. Because, on-camera their index fingers are pointed at anyone but themselves. While off-camera, their middle fingers are pointed straight at the American people.

Why doesn’t Brandon execute an Executive Order (EO) banning all of the restrictive CDL driving regulations for a year. Thus, freeing up the truck drivers to work more hours – common sense, yes? He sure was quick enough to EO away our pipeline and mining professions, no?
The spokesman for the Harbor Trucking Association said that there are plenty of trucks and drivers. Consequently, he blamed the antiquated booking system that the piers insist on using, which makes it nearly impossible to fill time slots at the pier. C’mon man, is the booking of containers according to color really necessary?
Therefore, the management at the docks claim to have no room for empty container exchanges. How come? And more importantly, did Biden foresee this catastrophe and include this problem in his infrastructure bill? Likewise, I am sure that the people who pretentiously voted for the socialist agenda are delighted. For included was free childcare provisions, labeled as structural nescessity in Joey’s Calmerica infrastructure bill. But, will they be as happy when their children are starving to death because all of our food rotted while waiting for a dock-space.
Moving on, the rail companies say that they are shipping the same amount of freight as last year. But if there is a shortage of drivers and next to nothing is transporting off the piers. And warehouses across the country are empty. How can this be true?
In a Joeyesque spirit, the finger pointing even included the director of the LA Port blaming the Port itself. So many lies to remember I suppose, sometimes a liar slips up and tells the truth!
Not to worry, America has a Transportation Secretary named Pete Buttigieg, taking a paternity leave during this supply chain bottleneck. First of all, why the need for a leave. Two wands cannot suffer a postpartum depression; Pete nor his mate gave birth to their twins. Indifferently, taking this leave now, at the most critical time in America’s supply movement history is mystifying. Although, deep down, I do not feel that America’s troubles are of a Divine intervention.
Chaos and frustration are the Khazarian Mafia’s best friends. According to 60 Minutes, “the White House has put a top-level task force on this problem.” Do I hear Pete Buttigieg? LOL! But of course, they are already preparing us for failure by mentioning, “other than twisting arms and wrangling concessions there’s not much it can do.” Let me guess, this task force’s top-level spokesman, who will laugh while circling back from hard questions, such as, “how did Nancy Pelosi receive $200 million from the infrastructure bill for a parks project. While the nation’s vital supplies are rotting on the docks?” Somehow, this same spokesman will wildly wave the time-tested DS-BS response, “we DO NOT have a magic wand!”
What they DO have, is an American Tower of Babel.
