The Day of God's Wrath

God spoke these verses to me, and He told me to write and share these words.
He said this is a very strict and urgent warning for the prideful and greedy people "high towers" who have had "fences" up around a certain city in or nation for weeks now and those who are and have been allowing corruption, destruction, division, chaos, and evilness to wreak havoc in our nation for far too long. God said their time is short and their evilness will come to light for all to see, and they will not be allowed to continue, and they will experience the full and complete wrath of almighty God. They might think that God does not exist, and they might think their evil actions and deeds will go unpunished, but the consequences of their actions will be applied by God in full regard for all the evil acts they have done.

The Day of Wrath
Zephaniah 1:14-18 (KJV)
14 The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

What "City State" is a part of a three city empire called “Empire of the City" with London, and Vatican City?
And why do "they" have these fences up for?
Who are they protecting themselves from?
What are they so afraid of?
